Anjou oils and diffuser

What inspired me to getting a diffuser

After having a trip to Wilko and picking up an owl candle burner and an essential oil, I literally fell in love with the scent and homely feeling it brought. I couldn’t wait to have a look on the internet for more ways to use essential oils in my home.

My husband and I sat down on the laptop together that evening and came across diffusers online, which looked really interesting. After having a little Google, I went on some sites and then came across the Anjou website where they stock a colour changing diffuser, which looked lovely and had character.

I then looked on Amazon together with my husband and we saw the Anjou diffuser on there and the Anjou essential oils set. Amazon had the option to purchase the Anjou diffuser together with the set of 12 Anjou essential oils, which seemed a great offer.

My husband then ordered us the beautiful Anjou colour changing diffuser together with the set of 12 essential oils . There was FREE delivery, which was a real plus for us and additionally my husband took out the free trial for the Amazon Prime, which enabled us to have quick delivery of the product (Next day).

How much did it cost us?

The Anjou diffuser was only £25.02 with the FREE next day delivery! Which to me sounded like a fantastic buy! I think we were very lucky with the price we paid at the time. The price for just the Anjou diffuser by itself currently costs £29.99, which is still really worth it.

We added on the set of 12 Anjou essential oils to our order too for just £12.96! I couldn’t believe how cheap they were! The Anjou essential oil set now costs £15.99 on their own for the 12 oils.

If you purchase both the Anjou diffuser and the set of 12 essential oils together, you normally save quite a bit compared to buying them each separately.

What attracted me most to the product

I loved the overall look of the diffuser and the fact that it isn’t just an unsightly diffuser, but that it looks ornamental and gives a homely effect. With the neat and beautiful finish to the product, the gorgeous wood effect bottom, the fact the product was branded, the 7 colour changing LED lights and the fantastic use of the timer settings ( 1h, 3h, or 6h) is what really attracted me to the Anjou diffuser.

I did have a look at other products on Amazon, but I didn’t like the design as much as the Anjou diffuser. Others also only had a strip for the colour changing LED, whereas the Anjou had the beautiful split between the base and the top of the diffuser. where it has the light coming through the whole top area.

Benefits to using a diffuser

So, apart from the beautiful aroma and freshness it gives your home, it can also help promote better sleep, help you to relax and unwind, act as an insect repellent, help elevate your mood, boost your immune system, help reduce inflammation and it is certainly a safer alternative to using candles.

What I love most since using the diffuser

I love to turn the Anjou diffuser on each evening to have a lovely essential oil diffusing whilst I am either sat on the computer or watching TV. Also, if I have been out all day and I come home to stay in for the rest of the afternoon, I like to switch my diffuser on as soon as I get in, to lift my mood and help me unwind and relax for the evening.

I find the diffuser really therapeutic and relaxing with the various colour changing lights and of course the aroma from the oils that are diffused.

I have a few favourite oils to diffuse which are: lavender, sweet orange, cinnamon and eucalyptus.
